Autobiography of Gandhiji

Dear Friends, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, IASH, Indian Association of Hannover had organised a program, which I could not attend. Felt really bad when I got to know that every person attended this program, got Mahatma Gandhi's Autobiography as a gift.
Though I had read this book years ago, I wanted to read it once again. As time goes by, we tend to forget many things. Books are no exception to that. Also when I read this book, I was very young. My understanding that time and now, with age, maturity and experience will also give me another perspective and better understanding. With this thought in mind, I started reading this book once again. And within a day, I finished half of it!
While reading, I was having mixed thoughts, like, oh wow! Gandhiji's thinking style/ thought process is just like me! Or poor Gandhiji, how much he suffered because of being a part of a conservative family or oh! What a gem of a person he was! Or how crazy his ideas sound, how funny man he was.. ranging from positive, negative to funny and thoughtful, all kinds of reactions came out of my mind, but nobody around to share them, which was kind of boring for me.
At my home, we used to read many newspaper articles or books together. Me, my father, mother and sister used to sit together and read. It was so much fun that way. So I thought, why not do it now in a broader way? Along with many friends and relatives together in a written form? Also this idea striked me more prominently in a facebook group named 'Knowing Gandhism Global Friends'. This group, as the name suggests, is dedicated to understand and spread Gandhian thoughts. There I'm able to read very thoughtful and thought-provoking discussions about Gandhiji. So I asked in the group about my wish and the admin and other friends gave a green signal, so decided to write it down and publish in that group, on my wall and also on my whatsapp groups.

One of the friends suggested, why to write it all, when you can use Picture to text converter. I remember using PDF to Text converter facility before, but it was forgotten totally! Thanks to that friend to suggest me this. I can use it when I really don't have any time. But on daily basis, I would love to write on my own. My father used to say during my academic years, just write down whatever you are learning and it will be a more rich learning experience. I got used to this habit, I started loving it and became a part of my life. Writing down a page daily will enable me to be in touch of Gandhiji for little more time and also will help me understand him better by typing each word myself.
Also, in the comment section, I will write my opinions on it as they will be appearing in my mind. Of course, comments are welcome from all the reader friends. That's what I would love the most.. Please feel free to share with your friends.
